In the year of her Platinum Jubilee Celebrations, we offer up our own choral homage to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
The concert will include music written in honour of the Queen during her seventy years on the throne by composers such as Michael Tippett, Benjamin Britten, William Walton, William McKie, Ralph Vaughan-Williams, David Sawyer and others, juxtaposed with madrigals written in honour of her predecessor Queen Elizabeth I.
