Sacred and Secular Choral Music, Solo Song, Spoken Word and Piano/Organ Solo, in celebration of Scotland and their national bard

A variety of vocal music, both sacred and secular, interwoven with spoken word and keyboard solo to bring to life the beauty of the Scottish landscape and cultural history. To include music by 16th composer David Peebles, 20th century choral composer Robin Orr, 21st century performer/composer and author Kerry Andrew and icon of the Scottish music scene Sir James Macmillan. We will also include several arrangements of Scots folk songs by Robert Burns, arranged by Simon Carrington, Stephen Cleobury and Benjamin Britten. An interesting, varied and unusual programme performed close to Burns Night.
